Vintage - Oh My!

Happy Wednesday to you!! Thanks for coming by, this week over at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog our wonderful and, oh, so talented France Papillon has challenge us to do something Vintage.

This was a toughie for me because vintage has never been "up my alley." I'm so bad at it.. haha!!
Don't get me wrong, I love Vintage, it's so beautiful and awesome and amazing but I'm just no good at creating it.
If you know me, you know that I just had to take on this challenge head on and dive right in.

I used my Stampotique Stamp

Topknot - By artist Daniel Torrente

I simply stamped her onto manilla card stock and heat embossed. No color, just her and all her glory.

I created my background by starting with patterned paper and using gesso over it here and there.
After that dried I spritzed with Color Wash
I then used some paper stencils and archival inks

Adding a bit of lace, flowers I made, a tag and some gold pearls I think it came out pretty ok, what do you think?

Thanks for coming by and make sure to check out the Designer's Blog for my post this week..

Cheers!!
