Hello and welcome back to the blog today, it's that time again, time for a new challenge over at Stampotique.
Valerie Wilson is our hostess and her challenge this week is "What's Old is New Again"
Here is what Valerie says about this challenge:
"Repurpose, re-use, recycle and alter, music to my ears. Is there something that is destined for the trash and you can give it a new found life? Or perhaps your tired of that old wall hanging and you can give it a make-over? My challenge to you this week is to take something old and make it new again"
I think I misunderstood this challenge, lol... wouldn't be the first time... I actually took some older stamps and gave them new life by using them again haha!!
I made an ATC for this challenge
I also used some of my Tim Holtz crayons on this background
First thing I did was cover the entire background with multi matte medium, let that dry.
I then colored the entire background with the crayons
I embossed the ATC with a embossing folder and then added another color os the crayon around the edges
I did a little sewing along the upper righthand corner and bottom left corner.
For this ATC I used stampotique stamps:
The first two are oldies but goodies!!
Mervynboy - By Daniel Torrente
Tall Word Collage - By Amy Wilson Wellenstein
Springtime - By Terri Richardson
I hope that you like my project today and that you will come by the Stampotique Blog and join us for this fun challenge
