This was the "Hand of Friendship" that I made. I like the way it came out, the idea was to trace your hand and cut it out and decorate it, I used the cuttlebug to imboss and then inks to make the colors, then we had to make an ATC to go with it and put it in a sleeve in the front of your hand.

Plastic Tag Book
I took a class on plastic tag books with metal embossing at a local craft store here in town and I made this cute little book. The book is made of thin plastic tags and we ran them through the cuttlebug and embossed them. Then we added some alcohol inks and whalla, so cool. The teacher also had us make some metal embelishments for the pages with the cuttlebug, this was the first time I had worked with metal. I thought it came out really cool.

Music & Angels
Made this for a swap and wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I tried to make the angel translucent but I don't know if I made it look cool or just erie.

Next page of my Journal
Here are the next few pages of my journal. These two pages were fun to do, I used paint, gesso, stamps and fine point pens. I'm going to do another page today. The challenge is to write your own name over and over again. I feel like this will be hard for me for some reason.

Journaling Journey
FRONT |
Well, I've finally started my soul journal. I joined a soul journaling group awhile back on Yahoo, intending to start a journal and just hadn't had the time or inspiration to do it. I finally did it!! Lastnight I sat down and started this journal. YAY! I'm on my way to a journal story now. I added some things that keep me inspired to do my artowrk. I love butterflies, stamps, paint, ATCs .. 7 Gypsies is one of my favorite brands and the bookmark was a gift from my mother when she toured Egypt. I think it's the coolest thing. Of course I couldn't be inspired at all without my God, I love him!!!
I inked up the front and back with paint and gesso. I'm not finished with the back yet but it's getting there. :)
