I am so glad that you stopped by again today. Thanks for all your support. Today marks another challenge over at Stampotique's Designer Blog and Nellie van Leeuwin is our hostess, she is challenging us to use "Only black and white"
This is always difficult for me because I just love color.

I decided to make a card for someone special
For this I used Stampotique stamps:
Ruff - By Artist Kate Crane

The splatter circle is a die by Seth Apter. So fun!

I am also so happy to announce that the store where I work "Simple Pleasures" is now carrying Stampotique stamps for the first time ever! Yay! and we SHIP!!!
We put them out the other day with loads of fun samples created by the design team and some friends and wonderful teachers.

I sure hope you will join us in this wonderful challenge this week at Stampotque's Blog. We always give away two lucky winners a 30.00 gift certificate.

Oh my goodness I can't believe that it's June 22nd already. Time has really flown by this summer. July will be here before we know it. Which brings me to Stampotique's next challenge.
Jackie Payne is our hostess this week and her challenge is "Butterflies and Flowers and all thing Nature"
Here is what Jackie has said about this challenge.

"Now that summer is almost here, it's time to spend some time in the garden and enjoy the nature and flowers. Let's see your best Butterfly, flowers and all things Garden projects"

For my project I went with Butterflies, they are my favorite. I made a journal page
This background was made using a gel print and I love the colors.

Stampotique Challenge 249 - Man Up

Hello and welcome back to the blog this week.

Carol Fox is our hostess and she is challenging us to a manly challenge. "Man Up" is her challenge theme and here is what Carol says about this one:
"Journal page, card or mixed media, all is ok as long as it has a male image on it"

So let's see your best "Man Up" projects Yay!

This week I am channeling my inner "Guy" haha! I created a Father's Day card using a technique from Tim Holtz's 3rd book. I just love Tim's fabric and so I decided to use it on this card. I also broke out my sewing machine this week. Love to sew but just haven't had much time to do it lately.

For this card I used Stampotique Stamps:

Checkers - By Artist Daniel Torrente
My Heart - By Artist France Papillon

I had a great time creating this card for my husband and he is one of my biggest fans so I hope he likes his Father's Day card.

SDC248 - All Creatures Great and Small

Hello everyone and thanks for coming back to the blog today. We have a fun new challenge over at Stampotique's Designer Blog and our hostess this week is Corrie Herriman and she has challenged us to "All Creatures Great and Small"
Here is what Corrie says about this fun challenge:

"Wild and woolly or friendly and domesticated we love them all..make sure to include an animal or two on your creation this week."
I decided to do an art journal page for this challenge... it turned out more masculine than I thought it would but I tried a technique on my background
I painted my background black first and then added paint and embossing paste on top of that, then I used an embossing folder over it all. Pretty cool result....

For this I used Stampotique stamps:

Dog Cube and Tweeze by Daniel Torrente

Sometimes I Pretend - By Jo Capper-Sandon

Come on over to Stampotique Challenge Blog and join us for this fun challenge and thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!
