More Than One Fold - Stampotique Style

Welcome back bloggies. It is quite crisp and cold today so I'm staying inside as much as possible.
For today's project I'm working on a card that has more than one fold and what better to use for this than the Sizzix "pop n cuts" system. I have a few of these dies but am still fairly new to using them so I'm kind of a "pup" when it comes to managing them.

At any rate, I'm making this project for the challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog
This week's challenge is "Fabulous Folds" meaning, more than one fold.
This always challenges me, I'm not so savvy with folds but I do love to be challenged.
I decided to make a birthday card for my sister and she loves Stampotique.

So for this project, I'm using the following Stampotique stamps:
3 In A Round - by artists Jill Penney and Daniel Torrent
Daniel's Tree Topper - By artist Daniel Torrent
Seaweed - By artist Jo Capper-Sandon

I also used Sizzix Die - Label Window 3D
I also used Tim Holtz Alphabet Sizzix Strip - Wanted

I didn't get a chance to take photos of all the steps but basically I stamped my Seaweed stamp onto my yellow potion of the flower and I used a word stamp for the blue portion of the flower. I used a pop dot to adhere the flowers to my card so that I could bend them outward to make them pop.
I colored my 3 in a round and Daniel's tree topper with copic markers and fussy cut those out to adhere to the card.
It was a pretty simple project this week but I really like the outcome.
Here are some more photos of my finished card:

I hope you have enjoyed my project for today, try to stay warm, I know I will be fetching some hot cocoa now.
