Chick Close Up

I wanted to show a close up of the little chick on the card below, I used flower soft for the body and I think it turned out so cute. It gives it a sort of 3-D look and it looks exactly like chick "fur" when they are first hatched, so fluffy and cute.

Easter Cards

I worked on some Easter Cards today for a friend of mine whom I have neglected since I moved away from Colorado. I feel bad that I haven't kept in better touch so I'm hoping the card will give her a smile. I also made one for my mother, she always enjoys getting home-made cards from me.

Handwritting Swap

I am participating in an ATC Handwritting swap, the idea is to add some of your own handwritting on the card and this was the ATC that I made for it. I used the rubber band embossing technique on the background and pink area of the flower. What a great technique, I just love the way it came out.

Making some more ATCs

I've worked on some ATCs in the past few days so I thought I would share with you all. One is for the something blue swap that I am taking part in and the other is for the metal/metallic swap, the last is one I made for something blue but decided not to use.. I thought they came out ok. I feel like I'm in a bit of a lull, I need some inspiration.

New page for my Art Journal

The next few pages were harder for me to do, it seems weird to write my own name a bunch of times haha. It was fun to do but hard to come up with different ideas on how to write it.

IT'S FINISHED~ The Chair

I got my chair pad back from the upholstry shop today, they put the buttons on it for me and now the chair is all finished, I'm really happy with the outcome.
