4x4 Fat Book Pages

I joined this wonderful swap on my All Things Tim yahoo group and I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. Meaning... there are 21 people in this swap and we have to make a page for each person. It has been quite a challenge but I know in the end when I get my return book in the mail it's all going to be so rewarding. There are some truly talented people in that group. I did not do a tutorial for the page that I did but I did take pictures of my finished page before I mailed them out. The theme for our pages was "Call It Love", we were supposed to make a page in the particular theme and then also add embellishments and a quote. For mine I went with Tim's newer blueprint Valentine's Day stamp set and went with a Wendy Vecchi sentiment. (one of my favorites) I used lots of Tim Holtz items and techniques too. Embellishments, distress stain, markers, stamps, idea-ology, Ranger tags and more. It was quite fun to work on this page. I am entering this into the Simon Says Challenge Blog - The theme this week is "Anything Goes".. love it!! They are also giving away a 50.00 gift voucher for their online store! Yay!
I'm also entering this into the Order of The Opus Gluei challenge, which is "Bring on the Bling"

Here is my finished product:

This is the Front
The little charm says "Love" I made the heart with grungeboard and distress crackle and then went over it with two colors of distress stain. One of Tim's techniques.

This was before the embellishments went on after most of the gluing was done.

After some embellishments we applied

TADA!! All 21 pages done!!! YAY!!

Thanks for coming by the blog :) Since I'm done with these and today happens to be my Birthday and tonight I get to go to a special dinner with hubby and dearest daughter.

  12. Happy birthday to you! Wowzers, this was quite the undertaking and you did a fantastic job, you are giving some beautiful pages away. The bling was a perfect addition to the project. The deep, rich coloring is fantastic and it works so beautifully. I will have to stop back over as you get your pages back, it's going to be a grand project! Thank you so much for sharing it with us over at Opus Gluei! Fantastic!
