Stampotique Challenge 167 - Masculine

Good morning all, we have a new challenge this week for you over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog and our hostess this week is Kim Howard

I know a lot of people have trouble with masculine themed cards or journal pages, I know I do.

Stampotique Stamps I used for this project are:

French Journal Page - By France Papillon
Angel Boy - By Daniel Torrente
Feakin' People Person - From Carol's Collection

I decided to do a small journal page for this one and I used a jelli print that I had made several months ago (gotta love those gelli prints)
I have always loved this gelli print and have had it saved in my stash for awhile.

First thing I did was take France's stamp and the same stencil that I used for the print, I lined it up and stamped through the stencil

Next I used Wendy Vecchi embossing paste to add some black dimension to the background

I stamped Angel Boy onto another sheet of paper and used colored pencils to color him.
Here is my finished page. I just love how it turned out!

Thanks once again for stopping by and I hope you will join us for the new challenge.

  1. Amazing that your powerful background does not overpower your Angel Boy image--perhaps it's his vivid colors! Love your journal page, Claudine!

  2. Love this page, the black really makes the other colours pop and it does not overwhelm Angel Boy.
