Where's The Party??

If you know me, you know that I am in love with the stamps at Stampotique.com and they also have a Challenge Blog This week the challenge is a sketch from Maria.
Since I love challenges and also the stamps by artists Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente I decided to use the stamp called 3 In A Round, my little skellie boys haha! The sketch is quite cool and has three circles so I decided to do a birthday card for this challenge.
I have this awesome gelli print that I made awhile back and I wanted to use it here. I cut a long strip of it for my card and used it in the background. It's the purple and pink with black circles in the background here. I love it!

I haven't really used washi tape much but I really like the look of it so for this project I got out some red washi tape and used that. I stuck the red washi tape to a piece of card stock and made little stars, cut out the party hats for the boys and also cut out the banner.

I also made little bow ties for the boys and painted them the colors in the gelli plate print. Don't they look like little party goers? haha!

I used cardstock in the same colors to make the circles and wrote my own sentiment. I knew exactly what I wanted them to say "Where's The Party"
This is a birthday card for someone I know.
This is my finished card.
Notice the gelli print strip in the background there?

As I said earlier, I'm entering this one into the Stampotique Designers challenge HERE
Catch ya later, time for me to go get some other projects done. LOL

Goth Girl ATC

Today I have a project for you that I made for a challenge over at Fun With ATCs this will be my very first challenge over there, YAY! They have a challenge about every two weeks and I've been really wanting to take. For this challenge the theme is Gothic!
I had some really cool gelli plate backgrounds that I did in black, red and white and decided to use those for my ATC.

I decided to use this portion of the print

I edged the ATC with black soot distress ink. For my image I used the Stampotique goth Prom Queen  girl by artist Jill Penney & Daniel Torrente. I colored her with a combo of Pitt Pens and Distress Markers. I wrote my sentiment and cut it out and edged with black soot distress ink.

I just love how the prom queen stands out in this wonderful background.
Thanks for stopping by today!
