How Beautiful is that?
Ok so for the craftsy part of my post...
Simon Say Stamp and Show - this weeks challenge is
Metal-ology. I really love working with metal and faux metal. It's such a fun thing to do. I have had these paper mache stars hanging around my craft room for awhile now and so I figured that I would do something with one of them. The idea for this star came from Tim Holtz Riveted Metal Technique and Tammy Tutterow also did one with this technique.. I followed Tim's instructions and instead of using darker colors for my star I used alcohol inks in gold and currant. My star came out so nice in color. Then I added some metal, clock gears, spinners, and some swirl paper clips I had. I bent the paper clips and one of the clock gears to go around the stars edges. I also added a mini propeller. Lastly I added some metal stitching here and there.
Thanks for stopping by :)
