A Sour Taste & Some more Jewelry I Made :)

I have had the unfortunate experience of having a so called friend criticize my work and say some pretty mean things. I really encourage constructive criticism and I invite it indeed. This wasn't constructive and she didn't say it to be helpful and it was very cruel. Some people bring people down in order to lift themselves up and we call those people Bully's. Those types of behaviors will not be permitted by me and I'm cutting that person out of my life for good. I think I'm better off without a "friend" like that anyway.

So.. to move on.. here are a few more necklaces that I made this week. I have been having a fun time making these for my family members and now that I can make a whole set, (necklace, earrings and bracelet) it's even more fun.

this is a necklace that I made for my 20 year old daughter. She wanted one with an anchor on it so I came up with this one. I hope she likes it.

this one was made for my 13 year old daughter, her birthday is right around the corner and I wanted to do something special for her. I made the pendant myself too :)

  1. Lovely job on both, your daughters are going to cherish them! You need to open an Etsy shop already!

  2. Critical people suck almost as much as butt kissers. There has to be a happy medium. I agree with you, keep doing what makes you happy. Even if an art piece were to look bad to one person that may be the piece that speaks to another. Art translates to the individual tastes. Personally I like the anchor necklace it has a nice combination of shapes and sizes as well as texture.
