Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge 11

Wow, it's so hard to believe that Linda and the crew have already been through 10 challenges and that we are on challenge 11. My how time does fly!

For this challenge we are working on page 52 of Tim's 3rd book
and it's all about the Effects Powders.
The host of this challenge is Inspiration Emporium and they are giving one lucky winner a 50.00 gift card to their online store. If you haven't already make sure to check out their BLOG where they have a fall challenge going on for the month of September.

There is also another great prize to be had, You can also win a wonderful prize pack from Tim and Mario themselves. One lucky winner chosen by the inspiration team will get some happy mail.

So for my project, I'm getting in the Halloween mood and so I figured I'd make some Halloween postcards.
I really love using powders, they give the right effect to a project and add that element of "realness" For my project I mixed up some of the powders to make the graves look old and rustic. I also used the powders on my spider and "31"
The background was created with a mix of Tim's distress paints and also Dylusions sprays

Take a look at my finished postcards

I hope you will check out the challenge over at Linda's Blog Studio L3
There are loads of inspiring project by the design team too.
Thanks again for coming by and have a great day
