  2. What a great thing for you to do! Very nice, kind of a pay it forward thing! On my last birthday, August 22, I was in California, celebrating the 2nd birthday of my great grandson. My best gift ever was him being born on my birthday!

  5. Happy Birthday Claudine! I love the idea of giving gifts on one's b-day instead of receiving them! My last Birthday was a very special one. That spring I had emergency heart surgery and 'beat the widow maker' as they say. So my husband and I plus another couple participated in a Dinners At The Farm event. This is an event to support the American Land Trust, Cityseed and another farm based organization that eludes me at the moment. Anyway, you eat a 6 course gourmet meal, outdoors, under a beautiful tent, with the focus being on locally sourced food and wine with every course. I have a photo album on my blog if you'd like to see the pics. It was SOOO fabulous that we are doing it again this year.
Thanks for doing this giveaway! You can never have too much Tim stuff! VBG!

  6. My husband and I spent a romantic night at home instead of trying to beat traffic and go to a restaurant. We had a wonderful steak dinner. And the best part was that my husband did all the cooking!

    Blessing,

  7. Oh I can answer this one for sure went out to dinner and my family gave me my iphone which I did not think I would love, but I do love it, and as my 15 year old would say I am now out of the dark ages and into the light.

  8. Happy Birthday. Great blog candy. With my kids grown, birthdays don't get quite as much attention. We go out to eat. Last year I received lots of stamping supplies.

  12. When I was growing up we had a tradition for our birthdays. We ate homemade Indian Fry Bread for breakfast. Somewhere along the way we grew up and it became less of a tradition, until last year. My parents took me out to a resteraunt that makes Indian Fry Bread, it was a great treat and plan to do it again this year when I turn the big 30!!! :)

  14. Growing up we had a birthday tradition in my family. Mom made Indian Fry Bread for breakfast. As my two older brothers and I grew up traditions changed and Fry Bread was forgotten... Until last year. My parents took me to a restaurant that serves Fry Bread. It was so good and I'd say the tradition just might be back. And to top it all of this year (in May) I will be turning 30!!!

  33. Happy Birthday Claudine! What a Sweet thing to do, and Pay it Forward was one of my favorite Movies! On my last birthday, I gave myself permission to make mistakes, and be messy, and use stuff up even if I could never get any more, I gave myself permission to be exactly who I am,and let go of all the things I thought I had to "measure" up to. LOL, even with permission, I am still learning who I really am, and an Artist has emerged in the process!

  34. Many Happy returns of the day for Feb 5th . My birthday is also this month. Last year I spent the first half of the day shopping with My eldest lad and his girlfriend. His girlfriend was new to this part of the world as she is from Holland. And the second half of the day I spent with my youngest lad. I had a really good day even though no one sent me a birthday card. Thanks for your generosity and for the chance to win. Hope you have a memorable birthday

  35. Happy Birthday!! I do hope you take the time to do something nice for yourself! For my birthday in November, I took the day off work and went to a restaurant I've been wanting to try. It only serves mac and cheese! A friend went with me and then surprised me by paying for the meal. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
